The Central Appraisal District of Taylor County closes for face-to-face transactions
In the interest of Public Health, effective on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, the Appraisal District lobby will be closed to the public for face-to-face transactions, until further notice. However, our office will continue to process property tax payments and provide appraisal services.
You can still conduct business with our agency by contacting us via telephone, mail, email, website, or the drop box located in front of our office at 1534 S Treadaway. Please refer to the Contact Form section of our website for phone number and completion of email contact form.
Within this site you will find general information about the District and the ad valorem property tax system in Texas, as well as information regarding specific properties within the district. Taylor Central Appraisal District is responsible for appraising all real and business personal property within Taylor County. The district appraises property according to the Texas Property Tax Code and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP).
